In the case where the client desires a completed product, there are four phases to the project:

  1. Design:
    Determining the customers requirements, and producing a set of blueprints. This phase is billed at a flat hourly rate, and can take as little as an hour or two, or as long as, well.... a long time. The amount of time is really determined by how much the customer has already decided, and how realistic their ideas are. This is the phase where all of the little details are worked out. A mock - up of the piece may produced in phase 1, if needed.
    Deliverable: The final product for this phase is a set of blueprints, including types of material to be used, finish details, etc. A binding production quote is also provided at the close of this phase.

  2. Mold Tooling Cost:
    Customer will responsible for all mold tooling cost costs incurred, and the cost should be prepaid before produce.

  3. Production:
    During this phase, the product designed in phase 1 is built. A 50% deposit is required at the start of phase 2. Any changes to the design may have additional costs (or savings) associated with them. The customer is encouraged to visit the factory to monitor the progress of the piece. This will ensure that the end product is what the customer actually expected, and will help to avoid surprises at delivery.
    Deliverable: The piece is completed at the end of this phase.

  4. Delivery:
    This is the final phase, and is simply the process of getting the piece from the factory to the customers home. Payment of the balance is due on delivery (or, in the case of shipping, prior to actual shipping). Where possible, we will deliver to your destination. Where this is not possible, the customer is responsible for all additional costs associated with delivery.
